check is one of the commands in Selenium IDE.
The purpose of check command in Selenium IDE, is to select the radio button.
In this article, I am going to practically demonstrate check command in Selenium IDE for selecting the given radio button as shown below:

New Selenium IDE – Using ‘check’ command for selecting a radio button
Follow the below steps for practicing check command in Selenium IDE along with me:
1) Execute the open command in Selenium IDE as explained in the previous article: Selenium IDE – open command
2) Now click on the second row in the Selenium IDE’s Test Script Editor Box as shown below:
3) While the second row is selected in step 2, enter the Selenium IDE command ‘check’ to the Command box field, enter the id locating strategy id=radio into the Target box field as shown below:
Note: The locating strategy id=radio1 is for locating the radio button option on the http://omayo.blogspot.com/ URL page (Shown at the beginning of the article).
4) Click on ‘Run current test’ option as shown below:
5) Observe that the check command in the Selenium IDE will be executed, the result will be passed and the required radio button will be selected as shown below:
